We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the East Coast to join our team!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- You will drive revenue through a combination of managing existing business, prospecting and closing new customers within the following territory:
- Maine
- New Hampshire
- Vermont
- Massachusetts
- Rhode Island
- Connecticut
- New York
- New Jersey
- Pennsylvania
- Maryland
- Delaware
- Virginia
- Meet and exceed sales goals set by the management team within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan that identifies specific growth targets (both existing and new customers) and objectives for such targets.
- Develop and execute a sales strategy and tactics for target accounts, focusing on core product lines: netting, shrink and spice.
- Conduct frequent customer visits and develop strong relationships with target procurement, marketing, R&D and culinary staff.
- Introduce Flavorseal technologies through a consultative sales approach that involves the following:
- Plan sales calls with specific agendas that are agreed upon with Flavorseal and the customer prior to the visit.
- Deliver fact-based presentations that showcase Flavorseal competencies as well as highlight the Flavorseal story.
- Engage in fact-based negotiations with the customer.
- Submit call reports to the VP of Sales with 24 hours of the customer call.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in IQMS.
- Attend weekly management team meetings telephonically.
- Travel in territory three to four nights per week.
Qualifications:
- Must have passion for the sales process
- Previous experience in sales in the food processing industry with a focus on shrinkable films and/or nettings used as processing aids
- Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM software
- Strong forecasting and negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
