You will be primarily working on all aspects of maintaining high client service levels, participating in meetings, implementing plan strategies, reviewing financial plans and other consulting aspects. This position will not require any sales. Senior Financial Planner/Advisor Traits
- Exemplary client servicing skills
- Personable attitude & willingness to build relationships with existing clients
- Ability to explain complicated financial concepts in an easily understandable way
- Team player willing to take the initiative to help out internally while proactively following up with client/co-workers on outstanding issues without being asked.
- Very organized and strong attention to detail

- Familiarity with interpreting financial data (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, taxes) preferred

Duties and Responsibilities include
- Concierge servicing focus (calls, meetings, email, etc.) to maintain/expand on stellar firm retention ratio with all dental clients
- Learning about the business model of dentistry from executive teams
- Meeting with clients on a regular basis in person and via phone/email
- Building rapport and cultivating existing relationships with clients
- Extensively communicating with clients regularly concerning ongoing projects
- Working with outside firms on behalf of the client to implement strategies from their financial plan
- Reviewing custom, dental-specific financial, business, and investing financial plans
Requirements
- 6+ yrs experience preferred working in the financial advisory field
- 4+ yrs experience running meetings & communicating with clients
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) highly preferred or must be willing to obtain upon starting
- Undergraduate degree required (ideally in Finance/Economics/Accounting/Business field) - MBA degree coveted
- Very polished presentation skills a necessity
- Finance/Economics degree preferred, though any degree in Business will suffice
- Series 65 or 66 required
- Outstanding communication skills are necessary
- Professional appearance a must
- Superb time management skills will be needed
- Dental experience a plus
- Multitasking ability necessary
- Mac & PC experience preferred
- Must authorize background and credit history checks
