You will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the dealership, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard dealership assets and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate annual audits and reviews of financial records.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to management.
- Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance, including payroll tax filings and reporting.
- Collaborate with department managers to monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a controller in a dealership is required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience with dealership accounting software (e.g., CDK Global, Reynolds and Reynolds) is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant accounting software applications.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
