OVERVIEW
Oversee the day-to-day and long-term operations of the maintenance department for the main plant as well as our offsite warehouse.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Develop and administer preventative maintenance schedule
- Complete FMX Maintenance tickets in a timely manner. Ensure all tickets are properly documented i.e., completed forms and/or closed in computer
- Monitor general condition of the building and surroundings at all times walking the property regularly
- Knowledge of all types of mechanical equipment including chillers, boilers, refrigeration dryers, ovens, plumbing and electrical systems.
- Maintain knowledge of local building code and other applicable building laws; blueprint reading; and building construction desirable.
- Manage the sourcing, interviewing, culture training and ongoing development of maintenance department, with a focus on team member satisfaction. Ability to work with an array of personalities within the maintenance department.
- Ensure all fire and safety inspections are completed and any discrepancies are corrected
- Obtain pricing and bids and/or develop cost estimates as directed from 3rd party contractors.
- Monitor supplies & maintain working order of tools and equipment, maintain respective inventories, complete orders as necessary.
- Ensure a monthly tool inventory is completed and documented
- Ensure all monthly, quarterly and yearly documentation including but not limited to preventative maintenance forms and brand standard required documentation is completed and turned into the Plant Manager for review in accordance with company policy
- Maintain a clean and safe working space.
- Ensure all monthly, quarterly, and yearly inspections are done timely and accurately.
- Follow Company policies and procedures and effectively communicate them to subordinates
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Specialization in technical crafts (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is required; an ability to advance knowledge in these areas and to mentor others is essential
- Proficiently speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language; ability to speak other languages in a multicultural work environment can be extremely helpful in facilitating good communication among all team members
- Able to read and write to facilitate the communication process
- Able to present technical ideas to management
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and desire to participate as part of a team
- Lead and be a role model for all team members
- Basic knowledge of budget development and analysis and monthly financial analysis including monitoring plant expenses, build a budget and managing capital projects.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED equivalent; two years of college or vocational training in electrical or mechanical engineering or plumbing, preferred.
EXPERIENCE
No less than ten years in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services required. Previous supervisory experience required. Cad/autocad or ability to use a design system is beneficial.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Will be responsible for providing duties, tasks, and other general guidance for Maintenance team comprised of 12 FTE’s.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Valid driver’s license required. Pool certification required, or ability to attain within 60 days. Certification or specialization in one or more technical craft (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) preferred.

May need to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time (5 hours or more). Must be able to bend, kneel, climb ladders, crouch and/or climb into precarious places, and handle heavy and bulky equipment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
