Full Charge Bookkeeper (not remote)
Responsibilities & Duties:.
- Manage bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients (15-20 clients)
- Account reconciliations- Reconciles various general ledger accounts. (40-60 Accounts)
- Prepare financial statements- Monthly, quarterly, annually, and on a needed basis
- Maintains records, enters data and retrieves data as needed. Files and retrieves documents, records and reports.
- Prepares and enters data into the financial system to record. Including preparing any data transmission files related to the payment process and distribution of reports and forms such as W9, 1099, W4, W2, 940’s, 941’s and Sales Tax reporting.
- Assist with Tax Season- Data entry and return preparation
- Process payroll checks, schedule and confirm payroll tax liability payments (IRS and State) for multiple clients (15-20 clients)
- Answering employer and employee payroll-related questions, time and attendance, payroll deductions, tax withholding, direct deposit.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper
- Experience with QuickBooks and Payroll Processing
- Intermediate Excel Skills
- Detail-oriented with sense of urgency
- Organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
