Position Summary
To provide friendly, attentive, and timely beverage service to create an exceptional experience for guests and golfers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Greet and serve restaurant, bar and/or Golfer patrons
- Prepare and serve beverages consistent with the Resort's standard drink recipes
- Prepare drinks and server’s in a timely fashion
- Be familiar with the Restaurant, Bar and Beverage Cart menu and any specials
- Take food and drinks orders from patrons dining at the bar or on the Golf course (and in dining areas in absence of restaurant servers)
- Carry out payment transactions accurately and balance daily sales with receipts
- Accurately enter charges and other billing transactions
- Clean and maintain all working and serving areas and equipment, including glassware, bar, stools, (and dining areas in absence of restaurant servers)
- Maintain organized stock of beer, liquor, wine, and garnishes
- Abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws, regulations, and responsible beverage service guidelines
- Comply with Par 5 policies/procedures
- Communicate effectively with superiors, peers, and direct reports
- Take day-to-day work direction from management
- Perform additional responsibilities per the Bistro Manager or Supervisor as needed
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Be of legal age to serve alcohol
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be able to obtain bartending license
- Relevant experience preferred
- Meet essential job function requirements
- Basic knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, and be familiar with standard drink recipes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and as business levels dictate

This person may remain stationary during entire the shift. Employee must be able to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe with the potential for slipping or tripping. Employee must frequently wash their hands and lift or move up to 40 pounds by themselves and 80 pounds with another person.
