Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports for the organization
- Perform general accounting duties, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations for improving financial performance
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
- Conduct regular audits to identify and resolve discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in public accounting or a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Experience with payroll processing and cash flow analysis is a plus
- Knowledge of financial management principles is desirable
Note:
-Flexible work hours Monday through Friday between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Position full to part time depending on applicants preference.
