Position Overview:
As a Server at our prestigious establishment, you play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service to our esteemed members and their guests. Your duties encompass a spectrum of responsibilities, including warmly welcoming patrons, elucidating menu offerings, processing orders efficiently, and ensuring the seamless flow of food and beverages. In addition to impeccable service delivery, you will undertake crucial opening and closing tasks, contribute to the setup and breakdown of banquet and dining functions, and uphold the impeccable standards of cleanliness and organization across various operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Extend warm greetings to members and guests, provide detailed menu insights, facilitate orders, and promptly deliver delectable fare, all while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
2. Adhere to Club uniform guidelines, presenting yourself in a well-groomed manner with pressed attire, reflecting our commitment to excellence.
3. Execute pre-service side work meticulously, including tasks such as lemon slicing, table preparation, and beverage preparation, ensuring seamless service transitions.
4. Engage in proactive follow-ups post-serving to ascertain member satisfaction, promptly addressing any concerns or corrections to uphold our commitment to exceptional service.
5. Uphold the pristine condition of dining areas, banquet spaces, storage facilities, and service stations, maintaining spotless environments conducive to unparalleled guest experiences.
6. Collaborate in the efficient setup and dismantling of banquet and dining events, contributing to the flawless execution of memorable occasions.
7. Manage reservations effectively, maintain accurate logs, and oversee table reservation schedules to optimize guest flow and satisfaction.
8. Champion the highest standards of hospitality, delivering superlative service that exceeds expectations and fosters a memorable dining experience for our esteemed members.
9. Embrace flexibility by undertaking any additional duties or responsibilities assigned, contributing to the overall success and harmony of our operational endeavors.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Skills/Abilities: Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills, adeptly managing guest interactions even in high-pressure scenarios. Preferred possession of emergency first aid certification.
2. Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required, accompanied by a minimum of two years' experience in a fine dining setting, with familiarity in proper dining room service protocols. Previous experience in private club environments is advantageous.
3. Additional Information: Must exhibit physical stamina, including the ability to stand or walk for extended periods, lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds, and engage in frequent bending, carrying, and reaching activities. Vision and hearing within normal ranges are essential, alongside brisk mobility between kitchen and service areas.
Working Conditions:
The role primarily operates within an air-conditioned/heated facility, with occasional outdoor tasks. Servers are expected to remain on their feet throughout their shift, actively engaging with guests and fulfilling service obligations.
Special Equipment:
Proficiency in maneuvering large trays laden with dishes and glassware safely is imperative to fulfill the demands of the role effectively.
