Front Desk Receptionist Position Summary:
- Front Desk receptionist is a full- time position. The medical receptionist is responsible for interacting with patient’s in a small healthcare setting and managing administrative tasks for the healthcare practitioners and team. Their duties include, but not restricted to, scheduling patient appointments according to Doctor availability, explaining intake forms to new patients and processing payments after treatment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

- Fluent in Korean and English
- Oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in computers skills and computer software such as MS word and MS excel
- Able to use office equipment; computer, scanner, fax, and phone system
- Strong Multitasker with excellent organizational skills
- We are happy to train receptionists without experience
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for accurately and professionally handling all front desk operations including answering phones, greeting patients, scheduling of all appointments, addressing routine inquiries, and forwarding non-routine requests to appropriate personnel.
- Strong Customer Service Skills
- Prepares necessary patient paperwork prior to patient’s appointment, obtains updated information and accurately enters information into EHR
- Identifies payer sources, verifies insurance eligibility and verifies prior authorization.
- Check in patients, collect co-pays and verify that all forms are filled out correctly.
- Recording and collecting patient copays and/or balances at check in/out.
- Comfortably and professionally communicating with patients, insurance companies, providers and team members.
- Scheduling patients, both new and current, on a daily basis
- Scanning and entering all information needed for patients, the clinic
- Requesting information when needed, either for insurance purposes, patients, etc.
- Complete payment reports on a daily basis
