Overview:
We are seeking a Support Specialist to join our team. As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our internal users. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Set up and maintain LAN connections
- Assist with network troubleshooting and maintenance
- Manage user accounts and permissions
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues
- Document support activities and solutions in ticketing system (ServiceNow)
- Provide training and guidance to users on technology usage
Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical support or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN networks
- Experience with VPN setup and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android)
- Knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with Group Policy Objects (GPO) administration
- Experience with Meraki networking equipment is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Note: All positions at our company are paid, including internships.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.95 - $40.24 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
