Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our metal fabrication team. As an Outside Sales Representative, you are responsible for recognizing and cultivating potential sales leads, traveling to meet with prospective and existing customers and drive profitable growth in the bistate area.
Responsibilities:
- Effective communication and establishing relationships with customers.
- Coordinate quotes and sales opportunities with sales manager.
- Follow up and resolution of customer issues.
- Drive profitable growth by expanding our customer base and increasing sales.
- Engineering supply chains based on current opportunities with a new or existing customer base.
- Increasing the awareness of service offerings and representing the brand to existing and prospective customers.
- Develop a clear understanding of business practices including forecasting, distribution, and code of ethics.
- Maintaining detailed sales reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems.
- Planning and carrying out sales and marketing activities to agreed budget, sales volumes, values, product mix, and time frames.
Experience:
- Experience in manufacturing processes and metal fabrication
- Proven experience in outside sales or a similar role
- Strong sales skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and ability to multi-task.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze market trends and customer needs
- Experience in account management and customer relationship building
