Duties:
- Perform dental examinations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for patients
- Provide comprehensive dental care including restorative, endodontic, periodontal, and oral surgery procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive measures
- Administer local anesthesia and perform dental procedures in a safe and effective manner
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic dental record systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to ensure efficient patient flow and quality of care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Skills:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in using electronic dental record systems such as Epic, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
- Excellent clinical skills and ability to provide high-quality dental care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate patient records
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
