Orthopedic Practice Seeking Float Radiology Technologist
Join our dynamic orthopedic practice with multiple locations as a Radiology Technologist. In this role, you'll play a vital part in patient care by performing radiologic procedures with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Safeguard patients, yourself, and colleagues from radiation hazards.
- Operate radiographic equipment following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Select appropriate ionizing factors for accurate diagnosis.
- Position patients accurately and capture X-rays of specified body parts as requested by physicians.
- Review X-rays for clarity and retake images when necessary.
- Distribute X-rays to relevant medical staff for evaluation.
- Maintain meticulous records including patient records, daily logs, and monthly reports.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure X-ray equipment meets regulatory standards.
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on radiographic equipment.
- Manage radiographic supplies and order replenishments as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour
