Ensures the accurate and timely preparation of complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing requests for monitoring and benchmarking of abstractor performance

Research, suggests, and devises mechanisms for data collection and interpretation methods, analytical methodologies as needed
-
Utilizes and supports database applications and analytical tools:
-
Assembles and distributes ad hoc and regularly scheduled reports in a timely manner
-
Extracts, assimilates and analyzes integrity of various types of data to assess compliance risks
-
Works with Excel, PowerPoint, Access, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, PowerBI, registry/abstraction systems and other computer software to analyze and format data to support CDRA management’s presentations to internal and external customers
-
Prepares and produces monitoring reports while verifying data integrity
-
Supports department in retrieving, organizing and reporting data for company initiatives such as data science projects, abstraction reporting projects, etc.,

Analyzes integrity of data results to facilitate identification of follow-up items
-
Prepares on-demand budget related, productivity and quality analyses
-
Works on special projects as assigned to support department operations
-
Communicates routinely to Manager any significant issues, status of projects, barriers and successes
-
Reviews monitoring and audit results to identify additional follow-up, education and support needs
-
Maintains awareness and familiarity of issues and events impacting operations and its customers

Contributes to overall team efforts and goals

Demonstrates experience using advanced Excel features and techniques required

Demonstrates experience in analysis and presentation of data required

Demonstrates experience and expertise with SQL query language preferred

Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products
-
Familiarity with various types and sources of health care information, including financial and patient level data files
-
Experience with database and SharePoint application development (e.g., Microsoft Access, Microsoft SharePoint) desirable
-
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Comfortable working independently, with experience working in a team environment

Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships

Ability to use computer hardware and software required

Skills in establishing and maintaining long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations

Experience with conceptualizing, applying, analyzing, and evaluating information gathered from, or generated by, observation, experience, reflection, reasoning or communication as a guide to belief and action

Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in areas such as Health Information Management, Information Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related field
EXPERIENCE
- Proven work experience in areas of database creation and management, process reengineering, and project management strongly preferred
