Job Description:
The ideal applicant is a jack-of-all-trades, and able to manage most digital aspects of the company, including: Wordpress website development, SEO, PPC, Content Creation, Social Media Marketing, Amazon Seller Central, and more. The applicant should be strong in graphic design and copywriting, and also able to make data-driven marketing decisions.
Candidates must be strong in Photoshop and Illustrator. Video editing (Premiere) is helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple WordPress Ecommerce Websites - Monitor website performance, update plugins, optimize landing pages, fix broken links, list new products, perform on-page SEO, and perform other routine web maintenance tasks. This job requires excellent "soft" web skills, and you may coordinate with a full-stack developer for more technical tasks, such as those that involve coding.
- Amazon Seller Central - Maintain and optimize Amazon listings, and stay on top of account health. This includes managing PPC campaigns, trouble-shooting, updating and creating listings across US and Global Markets, creating cases as appropriate and reporting on advertising metrics.
- SEO - Stay up-to-date on best SEO practices and implement on-page and off-page strategies to improve organic page rank. Tasks include on-page keyword optimization, backlink building, metadata sculpting, and page load speed optimization.
- PPC Advertising - Create and manage effective advertising campaigns in Amazon Seller Central as well as Google Ads and Facebook. Applicant must understand keyword research, A/B split testing and conversion tracking. Applicant must track and report campaign performance, provide actionable insights, and keep up-to-date with PPC best practices. Adwords certification and/or 2 years PPC management experience is required.
- Social Media Marketing - Manage Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube accounts. Help generate new content and manage marketing campaigns.
- Product Listings - Help create and maintain effective product listings in Woocommerce, Amazon, Ebay and Google Shopping Network. Create and maintain product feeds. Experience with Amazon Seller Central is desired.
- Google Analytics - Monitor and report on website traffic, make recommendations, and take actions to boost traffic and conversions.
- Graphic Design - Edit product photos and website graphics. Video editing would be useful, but not required.
Qualifications:
- A degree in marketing, graphic design, computer science, or similar.
- 2+ years E-commerce experience required.
- Solid understanding of Wordpress, SEO, Adwords, Analytics, Amazon Seller Central, Ebay and Social Marketing.
- Excellent copywriting skills required.
- Google Ads certification or equivalent experience is required.
Location:
We will only consider local applicants with the ability to work at our office in Woodland, California. We are not considering remote employees, independent contractors, Upwork, etc.
Pay: $60k-$80k/yr + Bonus
