Job Summary:
As an Administrative Assistant / Data Entry Specialist at our Medical Clinic, you will be an essential member of our administrative team, providing crucial support in maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring the smooth operation of daily office tasks. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to confidentiality will contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our clinic's operations, ultimately enhancing the quality of patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, photocopying, and organizing documents to maintain a tidy and efficient office environment.
- Answer phone calls and greet patients warmly as they arrive at the clinic, directing them to the appropriate areas and assisting with check-in procedures.
- Retrieve and file medical records, test results, and other documentation accurately and securely.
- Input new patient information accurately into our electronic health records (EHR) system.
- Update and maintain patient records, including demographic details, medical history, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients and their families.
- Basic computer skills.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.50 - $26.20 per hour
