Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Payroll HR Specialist to join our team. As a Payroll HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing HR support and expertise in various areas, including employee benefits administration, onboarding, and HR recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:*

1. Payroll Processing:*
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and direct deposits.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of payroll transactions, including salary adjustments, overtime, and deductions.
- Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and resolve any discrepancies in a prompt and professional manner.

2. Compliance and Regulations:*
- Stay up-to-date with federal, state, and local regulations governing payroll and HR practices, ensuring compliance at all times.

3. HR Support:*
- Assist with employee onboarding and off boarding processes, including collecting required documentation and conducting orientation sessions.
- Provide support in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries related to health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System), ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

4. Reporting and Analysis:*
- Generate payroll reports as needed for management review, budgeting, and auditing purposes.
- Analyze payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement and recommend solutions accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- In-depth knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS platforms (e.g., Paycom, ADP, Paychex, Workday).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:*
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Certification in Payroll (CPP) or Human Resources (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
- Familiarity with labor laws and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions.
