What you can expect in this role:
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose and repair HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical and mechanical components.
- Test HVAC systems for proper operation and safety.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites.
What skills/experience you'll need to be considered for this role:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of HVAC technical training program or apprenticeship.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in HVAC system service and/or installation.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to interact professionally with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency service calls as needed.
