Summary:
The Communications Specialist, Talent & Engagement, plays a crucial role in crafting and disseminating effective communication materials across various channels within the organization. This position is responsible for creating compelling email communications, visually engaging presentations, video scripts, and social media content to effectively convey key messages and enhance organizational communication efforts. By leveraging creative skills, strategic thinking, and collaborative partnerships, this role contributes to fostering meaningful connections with stakeholders and driving positive brand perception and engagement.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Email Communication:
Develop and execute email communication strategies to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders.
Create and distribute compelling email campaigns, newsletters, announcements, and updates to ensure timely and relevant communication.
Visual Content Creation:
Design visually appealing and impactful presentations using PowerPoint or similar tools to support internal and external communication needs.
Develop engaging visuals, graphics, and illustrations to enhance the effectiveness of communication materials.
Video Script Creation:
Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize, script, and storyboard video content for internal and external audiences.
Write clear, concise, and compelling video scripts that effectively convey key messages and align with organizational objectives.
Social Media Content Development:
Assist in the development and execution of social media content strategies to enhance brand visibility and engagement across various platforms.
Create engaging and shareable content, including posts, graphics, videos, and other multimedia assets, to drive audience interaction and participation.
Content Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, HR, Sales, and Operations, to ensure alignment of messaging and consistency in communication efforts.
Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on communication best practices, messaging, and content development.
Analytics and Optimization:
Monitor and analyze the performance of communication campaigns, email open rates, click-through rates, and social media engagement metrics.
Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement based on data insights and audience feedback.
Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
3 years of prior relevant experience.
Proven experience in creating and executing email communication campaigns, visual presentations, and social media content in a professional setting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint, as well as email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar.
Proficiency in Adobe photoshop
Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and platforms.
Experience in video scripting and production, including storyboarding and directing, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of social media trends, platforms, and best practices for content creation and community management.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for effective communication and storytelling.
