General Summary:
Velocity is seeking to hire a Service Delivery Admin. The Service Delivery Admin supports the Service Delivery team by performing a variety of administrative and customer service tasks. This role will work with various internal teams with a focus on supporting the delivery of Velocity core services.
This is a 6 month contract opportunity, benefits ineligible, fully remote, and reports to Service Delivery management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Possess an understanding of customer and product requirements for assigned services
- Adhere to the documented service delivery process for assigned services
- Review new service orders to verify intake requirements are met and obtain missing information
- Communicate order and dispatch updates to external customers and internal stakeholders
- Create, monitor and update internal work order tickets including: carrier orders, technician dispatches, shipments, TN orders, porting, test & turn up, cutover and billing
- Relay information between work order tickets, SmartSheets and customer communications
- Escalate order issues or delays to management
- Monitor, categorize and respond to Service Delivery emails
- Assist in documentation updates as delegated by management
- Provide overall admin support to Service Delivery team
Qualifications, Experience and Education:
Minimum requirements:
- High school diploma
- 1+ years’ related experience in telecom services and office environment
- Strong customer service experience that showcases a professional, patient, and courteous approach to working with customers and teammates
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Proficient in MS Office applications with specific emphasis on Excel and Outlook
- Ability to learn and understand custom software systems/portals and other online tools
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and analytical ability to problem solve
- Self-starter and can work well independently as well as with others on a team
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
