We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic telecommunications team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects within the telecommunications domain. The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and ensure the successful delivery of projects in alignment with business goals and client expectations. Further job functions entail:
- Project Planning and Initiation: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals and objectives. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources efficiently. Coordinate with department heads to ensure availability of required resources. Monitor resource utilization throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.
- Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and clients. Prepare and deliver regular project status updates to management and relevant stakeholders. Address and resolve project issues in a timely manner.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Implement contingency plans as needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations. Implement and enforce quality assurance processes. Conduct project reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to financial guidelines. Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients. Understand client requirements and expectations. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Project Closure: Conduct project evaluations and post-implementation reviews. Ensure all project documentation is complete and archived. Facilitate knowledge transfer to relevant stakeholders.
Candidates must show:

- Strong sense of accountability; be self-motivated, positive, and professional in approach and able to work independently and within a team
- Results driven with proven problem solving and critical thinking skills, and the ability to effectively read, write and give oral presentation(s).
- Strong organization skills with an ability to prioritize and plan work activities, uses time efficiently, organizes or schedules other people and their tasks, in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational support – ability to follow company policies and procedures in accordance with contract/agreement(s) and Company Goals, completes administrative tasks thoroughly, accurately, promptly, and efficiently as possible with respect to human resources, financial management and profitability.
- Technical skills –constantly strives to increase technical knowledge to improve training tools through latest product knowledge, industry knowledge, and research.
- Decision making – makes sound, well informed, fact-based decisions and seeks guidance when needed

This is what you need to have:
- Four (4) years of college resulting in a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication, Project Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the telecommunications industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- Flexible, upbeat, and energetic attitude – self-starter with the ability to quickly build strong partnerships and effectively communicate needs and challenges
- Proficient skills in project management tools and other software applications
- Ability to manage multiple functions and tasks at a fast pace with shifting priorities
- Effectively communicate and participate with staff at varying organizational levels
- Requires excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and industry trends.
- Ability to make quick situational assessments and react accordingly.
- Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance
- Must be able to work any shift and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary to meet the needs and goals of the business
