About you
- Applicants must reside in the United States (no exceptions)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communications, or other related field and 4–5 years of Account Management/Project Management experience in digital marketing
- A solid understanding of marketing plan development and budget reconciliation
- Analytical skills to provide strategic plans and new recommendations to clients
- Ability to translate marketing and research data into actionable plans
- Functions and collaborates well in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Has an excellent work ethic and is accountable for one’s performance
- Highly organized with professional written and verbal skills
- Must be proficient in Google Drive, Asana, Teamwork (or similar work management platform), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel), and Google Docs Editor Suite equivalents
What you’ll do
As an Account Manager, you will establish and manage the implementation of marketing strategies across multiple clients. You will be responsible for developing proposals and plans for new and current clients. A large portion of the role includes communicating deadlines and project scopes, building budgets based on client needs, and ensuring that all tactics are properly executed by the team. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a background in digital marketing, and possess a desire to create a positive client experience.
Responsibilities include
- Acting as a conduit to the team, clients, and vendors
- Leading the writing of proposals, ranging from new marketing initiatives to expanded scope of work for existing client marketing plans
- Building and nurturing strong and effective client relationships
- Creating and leading marketing strategies for a variety of clients, which includes project plans, timelines, campaigns, meetings, and budgets
- Providing clear direction to ensure accuracy in the scope of work and deadlines
- Working with the production team to achieve ROI for clients’ marketing initiatives
- Effectively managing multiple projects and being flexible with changing client needs
