Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Medical Office professional to join our team. The Medical Office professional will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our medical practice, ensuring efficient and effective management of administrative tasks. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of all aspects of the medical office.
Duties:
-Expertise in Electronic Medical Billing / Medicare electronic Billing and submission of all other insurance claims
-Bookkeeping
-Credentialing new providers in PECOS
-Strong experience with Google Drive and Excel spreadsheets and ledgers
-QuickBooks
-Reconciliation of numbers and calculations.
-Experience with Electronically Credentialing Providers on PECOS as Medicare Providers
-Strong communication skills and public relations skills.
-Proficiency with: Microsoft WORD, EXCEL
-Extensive Knowledge of electronic Medical -Billing.
-Multitasking and Problem Solving.
-Confidentiality skills and HIPAA compliance are essential.
-Knowledge of spreadsheets such as EXCEL and GOOGLE Drive
Job Type: Full-time
Compensation: Negotiable and based on experience.
- Manage all aspects of the medical office, including staff supervision, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Oversee bill payment, billing, and insurance claims processing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and ensure smooth operations
- Implement and enforce office policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with external vendors to procure necessary medical supplies and equipment
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in healthcare regulations to ensure compliance
- Handle patient inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct regular audits to assess the quality of services provided by the office

- Proven experience in medical office management or similar role
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
