Jews for Jesus is seeking a full-time Gift Processing Associate to join our team in the San Francisco Headquarters Office. This is a full-time in office position
SUMMARY OBJECTIVE
The mission of Jews for Jesus is “to make the Messiahship of Jesus an unavoidable issue to our Jewish people worldwide.” The Gift Processing Associate is part of the Finance Department, and reports to the Finance Supervisor. The Finance Department is responsible for handling all monies received via mail or internet, paying all invoices and reimbursements, and preparing payroll for processing. The Gift Processor’s duties will focus primarily on serving as the first contact with all incoming donations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Sort and open incoming mail on a daily basis
- Daily mail pickup
- Scan donations received into database
- Daily credit card donation entry
- Label donations according to their classification
- Verify donations received
- Weekly cash deposits
- Identify and research donor discrepancies
- Customer service
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS
- Assists in training new staff within the same job role
- File documents in designated filing cabinets

- Good judgment and discretion regarding confidential and sensitive data
- Proficiency in computer skills including Excel, the Internet, and data management

- Enthusiastic about Jewish evangelism
- Some basic Excel knowledge
- Useful but not required - Blackbaud CRM and/or Blackbaud Financial software
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- No Supervisor responsibilities required for this job

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED
PREFERRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years experience in a related field or College Degree
- Nonprofit Organization gift processing experience a plus

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
