Intoximeters is a St. Louis-based, 75+-year-old analytical instrument manufacturing Company dedicated to providing high-quality instruments and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a dynamic and self-driven Instrument Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Job Description
- Provide troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and calibration of the Company’s range of electronic instruments.
- Provide telephone technical support to customers of the Company’s analytical measurement hardware, including operational assistance, hardware and software troubleshooting, firmware upgrade installation, device setup, and configuration.
- Provide occasional technical training on the Company’s range of instrumentation and Windows-based software products for operation, calibration, and maintenance.
- Perform other duties as required.
Requirements
- Possess strong skills in Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adept in deductive reasoning, problem-solving, and troubleshooting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
- Well-organized with a relentless focus on customer service.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Associate’s degree in electronics engineering technology or similar.
- Proficiency with DMM, Oscilloscope, and soldering both through-hole and SMT.
- RoHS soldering familiarity preferred.
