We are looking for an experienced financial and administrative professional to join our company as a Bookkeeper. Our ideal candidate has several years of prior bookkeeping experience, expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks software, and experience preparing financial statements. You will also serve as primary office administrator handling sensitive company and private information and documentation.
Responsibilities
· Responsible for full cycle accounting duties
· Review ledger entries, class codes, prepare and post journal entries
· Ensure accuracy in general ledger
· Create financial statements and related financial reports
· Review/approve payments to vendors
· Review accounts receivable with management for collections
· Remit sales taxes, use taxes, income tax, personal property and real property taxes
· Perform bank reconciliations, transfers, ACH, and wires
· Oversee credit card assignments, usage and reconciliations
· Monitor cash levels
· Maintain files on loans, leases and debts
· Prepare debt schedule
· Liaison with attorney and CPA
· Ensure licenses up to date
· Respond to government correspondence, including IRS, SSA, surveys, DOT, and others
· Coordinate company insurance needs, audits, additions and deletions, renewals, and claims
· Assist and advise HR regarding employee benefits, census reports, etc.
· Pay payroll taxes and keep records
· Assign assets, keep records, assist with issues
· Maintain secure lists of employee logins and passwords
· Maintain secure records of high-level company financial and legal documents and other sensitive information
· Work closely with company owners regarding finances, strategic planning, legal issues and more.
Skills
- Proficient in QuickBooks, preferably Enterprise
- 5 years of Accounting Experience
- Willingness to learn Korean culture and business ethics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, and payroll
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort with fast-paced environment
- Equipment business experience
