Environmental Construction, Inc. has been a locally owned family business since 1977, specializing in underground utility installations. We are located in a beautiful rural setting with an upgraded shop facility.
Duties:
-Monitor and dispatch other mechanics as needed.
-Ensure all fleet maintenance is being maintained and scheduled on a regular basis.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with diesel engines.
- Conduct brake repairs and replacements.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to inspect and repair diesel engines.
- Assemble, weld, and fabricate parts as needed.
- Perform HVAC repairs and maintenance on diesel vehicles.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
-Vac Truck Experience a plus.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
-Leadership ability.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Experience with brake repairs and replacements.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems in diesel vehicles.
- Ability to assemble, weld, and fabricate parts as needed.
- Capable of performing heavy lifting and physical tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Note: A valid driver's license may be required for this position.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $59,440.00 per year
