General Summary:
As a Lab Asset Management Inventory Specialist, your main responsibility will be to collect and maintain accurate data for laboratory equipment across multiple sites in the US. You will work closely with equipment owners, finance, and other key stakeholders to ensure precise tagging, record-keeping, and effective inventory management.
Responsibilities:
1. Capitalization of Lab Equipment:

Collaborate with the scientific community and vendors to gather critical data for equipment.

Gather warranty information for assets from various manufacturers.

Generate forms and associated financial tags.
-
Ensure timely application of financial tags.
-
Physically apply tags at New Jersey sites and coordinate with site representatives for non-NJ locations.

Submit required forms for updating ledger and SOX compliance.

Support Finance audits of laboratory equipment, including physical verification.

Track and document CAR finances on a weekly basis.

Create templates associated with the Asset Recommendation process to initiate asset capitalization requests to stakeholders.

Monitor and validate the implementation of requested data changes to completion.
2. Management of Data associated with Lab Equipment Life Cycle

Verify data accuracy on reporting of lab equipment transfers and changes across multiple sites within the US.

Format data and generate reports for distribution to third-party vendors and internal client databases.

Prepare data and submit requests for disposal of assets.
Qualifications:
Proficiencies Desired:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with SharePoint, SAP/Ariba preferred.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality or productivity, with a focus on risk communication.
