The host/hostess plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive guest experience by greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for guests and are responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

What You’ll Do:
● Greet guests as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
● Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
● Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area.
● Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide information about the establishment.
● Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
● Monitor the dining area to ensure guests are satisfied and promptly address any issues or concerns.
● Assist with basic administrative tasks such as updating seating charts and managing waitlists.
● Upsell promotions, special menu items, and events to guests.
● Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
● Provide excellent customer service by anticipating guests' needs and exceeding their expectations.
What You’ll Bring:
● Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
● Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
● Knowledge of reservation management systems (e.g., SevenRooms) is a plus.
● A friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for providing exceptional service.
● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move objects as needed.
