Metro Medspa is seeking a Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator with a strong customer service background to join an established but growing medical spa. The winning candidate must be focused on patient care coupled with a strong desire to assist in the growth of the practice. The winning candidate should be comfortable and capable working with a team as well as independently. A positive attitude and friendly demeanor is a must!
Position Requirements:
- Must be able to maintain a consistently pleasant and professional personality
- Must work well under pressure and be able to multi-task
- Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with guests, management and staff members
- Sales or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Able to work flexible hours including until 7pm two nights a week and one Saturday a month from 9-2
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for operations, sales, and service: including opening and closing the office as scheduled and keeping the appearance of the office inviting
- Assists in maintenance and cleanliness of the spa
- Maintains knowledge of esthetic services and product lines in order to provide accurate information to patients
- Utilizes computers with skill and proficiency and quick to learn new programs
- Answers phone calls, addresses patient questions, and speaks in a courteous and professional manner
- Checks-in and checks-out patients in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
- Accurately schedules, changes and cancels appointments
- Provides assistance to providers as needed especially in regards to rooming patients, readying treatment rooms, and keeping appointments running on time.
Skills and Requirements:
A minimum of 1 years of sales and patient care/customer service experience in a plastic surgery, dental office, retail, salon/spa, or dermatology environment.
- Must be able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment as well as be detail-oriented. Ability to effectively communicate with patients on treatments, specials, practice policies and procedures as well as with physicians/management regarding operations.
- Knowledge of skin care products and the medical spa industry strongly preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
