We are currently looking for a part time Bookkeeper to join our administrative team with prior experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office. This position can be based in any of our four offices, with a possibility of remote work but required to be in the area if a need to come into the office were ever presented.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile cash accounts as well as various other general ledger accounts.
- Generate Various QuickBooks reports as needed.
- Data entry of client financials into QuickBooks and other firm software.
- Prepare payroll returns (W2s and 1099s)
- Prepare journal entries.
- Correspond with clients if needed as requested or to clarify information.
- Assist in gathering and organizing information for tax preparation.
- Calculation of annual corporate taxable fringe benefits
Qualifications:
- Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and Online
- Experienced with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
