We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Nurse Anesthetist at a private oral surgical center in western Pennsylvania!
As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Responsibilities:
- Administer anesthesia to patients and provide care following surgical procedures
- Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Provide pain management services to patient’s post-surgery
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients throughout the anesthesia process
- Document patient information, anesthesia administration, and other relevant data in the health record.
- Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of nursing practice
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS
- Strong knowledge of pain management techniques and protocols
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Proficiency in medical documentation and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Experience in acute care settings, preferably in surgical or perioperative environments
- Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and pharmacology principles
- Ability to administer injections safely and accurately
