SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for providing effective support to Affiliated Advisors, Associate Advisors, Clients and Travel Partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Handles New Advisor and Associate Advisor set-ups, full account maintenance and terminations.
Participates in virtual, inhouse and outside the office company events.
Approves, creates, manages, and deletes Advisors and Associates logins to support various preferred and some non-preferred Travel Partner Agent Portals.
Approves, creates, manages, and deletes Advisors and Associates free and paid accounts for Monarch and TPI’s Consortia- Signature Travel.
Provides effective Customer Service to our Advisors, Associate Advisors, and their clients when required.
Receives and distributes incoming/outgoing mail.
Responsible for holding TPI Group Advantage space. Guiding & assisting all Advisors with cruise groups, including Signature Travel Groups.
Receives and quality controls travel documents, travel vouchers, IATAN Cards and any mail correspondence.
Process all electronic Faxes, identifies and routes to appropriate Travel Advisor.
Handles some bookkeeping and billing responsibilities.
Receives, trouble-shoots, and reports IT issues to TPI and/or to suppliers.
Receives, investigates, and resolves any issues and complaints from Travel Advisors, Associates, Clients and Travel Partners.
Discuss and process general Travel Agent Benefits, including IATAN and CLIA approvals.
Approve, manage, and delete all access to Virtual Insight Education, Welcome to TPI Package, and access to TPI private Facebook pages.
Handles the entire process of the Referral Program.
Responsible for Credit Card Disputes, Charge Backs and Collections.
Provide general information about Seller of Travel Laws and Errors & Omissions.
Answers all requests via Phone, Live Chat and Emails.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two or more years Travel related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Possess a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel and Word. Possess the ability to use a Contact Manager System like ACT or similar.
OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work in a multi-task fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels including excellent listening skills.
- Possess strong customer service skills and can work in a dynamic team environment.
- Able to manage multiple projects at one time.
- 2 year or more experience working in a travel agency.
