Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of the production assembly process including but not limited to main assembly lines, LED assembly, Frames assembly, Cans assembly, and other Subassembly areas.
Act as supervisor for other departments as necessary.

Essential Functions
- - Enforce safety regulations.
- - Ensure all products adhere to quality standards.
- - Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production,
processing, and packaging of Finished Goods.
- - Discuss with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or
between departments.
- - Utilizing the Master Production Schedule as provided by Planning, plan and establish
work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet production goals.
- - Working closely with quality control, inspect materials, products, or equipment to
detect defects or malfunctions.
- - Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures
or assign a lead person to conduct the training. Ensure that you or the lead personstays with the trainee until they are comfortable that they understand the process.
- - Convert complex instructions into simpler ones that can be executed by the
assemblers.
- - Evaluate production estimated standard output to actual output to monitor output
and to create a realistic plan. This is a KPI (Key Performance Indicator) report.
- - Interpret assembly or fabrication drawings, job orders, travelers, and company
policies and procedures for workers.
- - Working with HR, keep records of employees’ attendance, tardiness, and hours
worked.
- - Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services.
- - Discuss with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems or complaints.
- - Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve
production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- - Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, terminating, disciplinary action,
evaluations, and promotions.
- - Review assembly documentation from engineering and report errors and suggest
improvements.
- - Report parts shortages.
- - Other duties and special projects as required.Skills
- - 5 plus years of experience in the ability to comprehend assembly drawings.
- - 5 plus years of experience in the ability to comprehend fabrication drawings.
- - 5 plus years of experience in the ability to create work schedules.
- - 5 plus years of experience in an electrical or mechanical assembly environment.
- - 5 plus years in supervising an assembly team.
- - Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook
- - Experience with ERP systems such as Syteline, MS Dynamics 365, Oracle or SAP.
- - Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- - High school graduate or GED required.
- - Bi-Lingual Spanish required.
- - Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- - Ability to work with different personality types.
- - Ability to coach the team to ensure production is effective and efficient.
- - Ability to lift up to 25 LBS.
- Vision (Near and Far) and Sense of sound (Per OSHA standards).
