Lil' Drug Store Products is hiring a Production Coordinator. This role is responsible for supporting all aspects of our production process, assisting with displays assembly processes, and guiding team members to safely and efficiently perform their duties.
Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Schedule production orders based on customer orders and forecasted demand
- Work closely with assistant manager and purchasing to ensure adequate component supply
- Assist with staging components for team members to efficiently complete production orders
- Perform informal inspections to ensure work instructions are followed and finished product meets our quality standards
- Communicate with assistant manager on labor demands
- Support inventory integrity on our stock of components and finished goods
- Promote safe work practices while using equipment and promote a clean and orderly work area
- Coordinate with assistant manager equipment preventive maintenance
- Use sit-down and high reach forklift, pallet jack, hand carts, conveyor, blister machine, heat tunnel, packaging equipment in a safe manner
- Use and operate in a safe manner including but not limited to hand tools such as box cutter, and box stapler
- Perform lock out tag out of energized equipment and perform routine maintenance or adjustments as needed
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of modern distribution center experience
- RF scanning device experience
- Scheduling and planning experience preferred
- Experience using computer hardware and software to enter information and to conduct daily tasks
