The printed circuit board assemblies ESC builds go into end products ranging from fiber optic transmitters and transceivers to missile guidance and satellite systems. Summary:
The inspector’s role is critical for preventing the escape of manufacturing defects and assuring the high level of quality that our customers demand.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspection of electronic assemblies for conformance to IPC-J-STD-001 class 3
- Perform review of assembly documentation for completeness and clarity.
Requirements:
- Be certified to and maintain IPC-A-610 certification.
- Be certified to and maintain IPC J-STD-001 certification with Space Addendum.
- Obtain certification to and maintain NASA-STD-8739.1 and NASA-STD-8739.4
- Knowledge of ESD control practices
- Must be a US person (citizen or legal permanent resident)
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Experience with NASA 8739 and IPC space addendum preferred.
- Understanding of IPC WHMA-A-620
- Ability to use a microscope and other magnification devices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
