Responsibilities
- Organize office and assist associates in ways that optimize procedures;
- Sort and distribute email and mail communications in a timely manner;
- Work in multiple cloud-based claims management systems;
- Create and update claim records ensuring accuracy and validity of information;
- Maintain trusting relationships with customers and colleagues; and,
- Perform receptionist duties, as required.
Requirements
- Insurance agency experience preferred;
- Proven experience as an office assistant;
- Assistant in another relevant administrative role;
- Knowledge of computer systems;
- Working knowledge of office equipment;
- Thorough understanding of office management procedures;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills;
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and,
- Proficiency in Windows 10 and Office365.
