Electrical Supervisor: We are seeking a dedicated PV Solar Electrical Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various renewable energy systems, focusing on solar panels. Your expertise in residential electrical systems will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of these systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles, as well as experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for coordinating with and managing other team members and ensuring projects are completed on time and pass inspections to the highest standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain solar panel systems, ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Conduct electrical wiring, conduit bending, panel upgrades, and other electrical tasks necessary for the successful completion of solar projects.
- Collaborate with installation team members to ensure the timely completion of projects while adhering to high-quality standards.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, system failures, and component malfunctions in a prompt and efficient manner.
- Conduct regular maintenance and system inspections to optimize performance and identify potential problems before they occur.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members, including apprentices, to promote their professional development.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Electrician license/certification in Wisconsin.
- Experience in electrical installations.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and following safety guidelines.
