The Clinical Assistant is responsible direct patient care and for providing clinical support to the provider and patients. This person prepares the patient prior to the provider by conducting the office visit; by collecting clinical data, and entering in the medical record.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and complete patient documentation in EMR
- Remove staples/stitches
- Remove casts/splints
- Follow clinic/patient care protocols.
- Return patient calls in a timely manner.
- Scheduled patient testing appointments and obtain insurance authorizations when needed.
- Surgical scheduling and obtain insurance authorizations.
- Travel to Delaware office when provider is working in that location
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
