We’re Hiring! Our client is a global insurance company seeking candidates for Remote Customer Service/Call Center Team Members to support their customers during Benefits Open Enrollment. Great training is provided, so don’t be worried if you don’t know everything about this topic!
NOTE: **Multiple start dates anticipated, first class is slotted for the end of July.**
Pay by Location: While the position is remote, you will need to be located within one hour of our client’s offices, which are:
- Houston, TX 77002 - $16.50/hour
- Dallas, TX 75201 - $16.50/hour
- Sunrise, FL 33323 - $16.50/hour
- Clearwater, FL 33765 - $16.50/hour
Retention Bonus:
- $1500 retention bonus offered to contractors that complete the duration of their assignments and meet attendance expectations.
- $2000 retention bonus to any returning contractor from previous OE sessions and meets attendance expectations.
Required Hours Per Day and/or Total Hours per Week:
- 40 hours per week
- 10% shift differential for any hours worked after 7 PM CST
Schedule: Shift start times begin at 6:55 AM EST, with the latest start time at 11:30 AM EST Two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch are scheduled daily
Home Office Requirements: Private quiet workspace and an internet speed of 50 Mbps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for educating employees on available health and life benefits during their employer’s open enrollment season.
- Assist Employees navigate through the selection of health and life benefits.
- Influence and guide employee to the best solution for them and their families.
- This is primarily an inbound call center role with the occasional outbound follow-up calls (as needed) where you will be answering questions about benefits, troubleshooting website issues, enrolling in benefits, and making callbacks if needed.
- Handle inbound telephone calls and document all interactions in SalesForce.
- Respond to both standard and more difficult customer inquiries regarding various products and services via phone or email.
- Research customer inquiries and follow up with customers as needed via email or outbound phone calls.
- Respond formally to correspondence, either verbally or in writing, utilizing all reference material necessary to provide an informed response to the customer.
- Request additional/missing information from the customer via written or verbal communication.
- Document client issues and escalate issues to appropriate parties to resolve.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic website errors/questions.
- Assist with enrolling customers in various life and health products.
- Ability and flexibility to work a scheduled day.
- Assisting customers with payments and payment-related questions.
- Assisting customers with the claims and claims-related processing.
Requirements:
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- One+ years of proven customer service or sales experience in an office environment or call center.
- Minimum 6 months experience using Microsoft Office and experience navigating multiple systems without assistance.
- Basic computer troubleshooting skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in multiple technologies/systems at once; very important.
- Able to thrive in a high-volume and VERY fast-paced environment – 40+ calls in a shift.
- Learn quickly and able to leverage tools to be able to adapt and grow on their own.
What makes you stand out:
- Two years of college coursework.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent.
- Prior call center experience.
- Bilingual (Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal)
- Currently hold an active Life and Health License
- Previous experience with Group Universal Life, Medical, Dental, Vision, Accident or Critical Illness products
