Position Summary
The EWS Technical Support I will be responsible for working with customers, internal support and in-house development to support EWS core products and related systems. This will include technical troubleshooting, customer installs, server maintenance and testing. There will be interaction with our clients, on-line and over the phone, so excellent communication skills are needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with technical level support cases for both external and internal customers
- Support and maintain our Azure hosting environment, proactively addressing problems
- Develop processes, documentation, and tools for common technical department tasks
- Coordinate customer projects such as server migrations
- Work with engineering department to support and improve our products
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or related work experience
- 1-3 years of experience with servers, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Azure and general networking
- Windows 7, 8, 10, Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022
- Microsoft SQL Server 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2016, 2019
- Scripting (e.g. SQL, PowerShell) – for application installs, basic systems management, cloud integration
- Knowledge of virtual environments (e.g. Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure)
- General use of office products
- Outstanding interpersonal and business communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work alone with personal responsibility as well blend into a team when needed
- Effective time management and schedule adherence skills a must with ability to prioritize
- Establish and maintain effective relationship expectations of external and internal customers
- Learn on the fly when facing new problems by analyzing and finding solutions
