The Receptionist uses a wide range of clerical, reception and people skills and is the first point of contact for visiting family members, vendors and guests. The Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, answering questions and assisting residents who come to the front desk, as well as additional clerical duties.
Essential Functions:
· Acts as the face of the company, greets residents, visitors, and vendors, and answers questions at the front desk
· Answers incoming telephone calls on a multi-line phone system
· Sorts / distributes mail and assures that resident privacy and rights are maintained
· Maintains office supplies and office equipment
· Accepts applications
· Handles money from the gift shop
· Provides change for residents or employees
· Manages the resident trust fund and keeps the Administrator informed
· Operates copy machine, fax machine, telephone, computer, paper cutter, and other office equipment in a safe and efficient manner
· Assists residents in stamping / mailing letters
· Assists in general office work for other Departments including: copying, typing, filing, art work, record keeping, etc.
· Participates in fire, safety, and disaster drills
· Adheres to St. Agnes Home’s policies and procedures, including those covering privacy and security in compliance with HIPAA regulations, and codes of conduct. Maintains confidentiality and respects residents’ privacy at all times in accordance with HIPAA regulations

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
