We are currently seeking a part-time Front Desk Assistant to join our team at our well-established auto repair shop. One assistant will work Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 7:45 am to 5:00 pm. This role requires an individual who is friendly, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of tasks with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Answer calls and listen attentively to customer inquiries while providing accurate information and assistance.
Book appointments
Greet and check in customers with a smile
Enter customer invoices into our system promptly and accurately.
Assist with estimating repair costs and ordering necessary parts as needed.
Take payments and process transactions.
Perform general data entry, filing, and organizing documents to maintain orderly records.
Pick up parts at area parts store for any time sensitive jobs.
Ensure the cleanliness of the reception area, customer restroom, office, and break room spaces. (1-2 hours of cleaning per week)
Treat customers and colleagues with the utmost respect and professionalism.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or experience in customer service or administration is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.

Approachable demeanor, with a genuine desire to help customers.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
