Description of Duties:
- Interact with Q.A. on correcting identified defects in parts.
- Delegate mold setups, verify correctly completed.
- Startup jobs as required.
- Training of department personnel.
- Coordinate machine repairs with Maintenance Department.
- Coordinate tool repairs with Engineering Department.
- Able to compare parts produced to blueprints.
- Interact with Engineering on tool samplings. Complete required documentation to ensure process is robust and repeatable.
- Monitor job performance of foreman, setup personnel, material handlers, and operators.
- Make recommendations to improve production efficiency.
- Monitor process parameters to verify maximum efficiency during runs.
- Communicate daily issues with management.
- Ensure quality in entire production area.
- Interview prospective molding department personnel.
- Administer disciplinary action as required.
- Train foreman in required standardized practices.
- Review and approve sample processing. Assist production foreman with sampling as needed.
- Review process parameters and create process setup sheets/books. Update books when required.
- Promote proper work habits and practices throughout organization.
- Meet with all shift foremen daily.
- Monitor the reject area; schedule disposition as needed.
- Review and approve sample processing. Assist production foreman with sampling as needed.
- Train new personnel. Work with Human Resources to manage training documentation.
Job Tasks:
- Adjust process parameters to improve parts per Q.A. and MRB direction,
- Monitor personnel.
- Fill in for missing personnel as needed.
- Create Non-conformance reports as needed.
- Verify part integrity to print spec.
- Startup difficult jobs.
- Complete documentation on changeovers.
- Able to substitute for P.M. as needed.
- Monitor scrap and improve efficiencies daily.
- Review material usage and use as approved by management.
- Implement continuous improvement plans as directed by management.
- Resolve processing issues when required.
- Expedite tooling repairs.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
