Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care and oversee the nursing staff on the assigned unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
Experience:
- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a registered nurse in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, aseptic technique, cardiac catheterization, diagnostic evaluation, catheter care standards, spinal tap procedures, DRG coding, and workers compensation laws
- Experience in managing a team of nurses and providing leadership in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment
