As a Polymer Testing Laboratory technician for ISA Corporation, you lend scientific knowledge and methods to the manufacture of latex rubber and nitrile products used by consumers, industry, and government.

Duties / Responsibilities:
- As a polymer testing laboratory technician for ISA Corporation, you lend scientific knowledge and methods to the manufacture of latex rubber and nitrile products used by consumers, industry, and government.
- As a technician, you perform chemical and physical tests, record measurements, and test results to ensure the requirements, product quality, and specifications for company, consumers, industry, and government are met.
- Your laboratory work will include measuring, mixing ingredients, chemical reactions and testing of latex and nitrile durability and tensile properties, the product's ability to withstand tension and elasticity.
- Polymer technicians are involved in quality control and ensures the manufacturing process works effectively. Specifically, you test sample raw materials and finished goods for compliance with company, industry, and governmental standards.
- Quality control also includes daily testing checks of viscosity, PH, polymer bag seal tensile strength, and product size requirements. Cleaning laboratory, equipment and instruments used therein, ordering needed supplies and disposing of trash and other waste.
Requirements/Skills:
- Requires a basic working knowledge of laboratory equipment, practices and procedures, and the ability to follow established compounding formulas and processes for manufacturing dipped articles.
- Prior experience or a combination of experience and an associate degree in laboratory practices a plus.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and keen attention to detail are expected.
- Knowledge of polymer technology.
- Knowledge of mechanics and engineering.
- Practical skills for handling tools and instruments.
- Awareness of health and safety.
- Design, numeracy, and information and communication technology.
- Normal color vision.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

Shift/Schedule:
- 8 - hour days
- 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Monday - Friday
