Job Title: Driver/Lot Attendant (Seasonal)

As we gear up for the season, we are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Driver/Lot Attendant.
Position Overview:
As a Driver/Lot Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dealership. This seasonal position requires flexibility, as the number of workdays may vary depending on our schedule. You will be responsible for various tasks, including but not limited to moving, loading, and strapping down heavy motorcycles in trailers and Sprinter vans, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the shop area and lot, washing bikes when necessary, delivering and transferring motorcycles to and from customer homes and other dealerships, assisting with helping the service department with daily operations by getting bikes for technicians and obtaining parts for service from the parts department, and assisting with various other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude, be a hard worker, enjoy working in an environment surrounded by motorcycles, and must be able to maneuver heavy motorcycles up ramps with no issue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely move, load, and strap down heavy motorcycles in trailers and Sprinter vans.
- Deliver and transfer motorcycles to and from customer homes and other dealerships.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shop area and lot.
- Wash motorcycles as needed to ensure they are presented in the best condition.
- Assist with organizing inventory and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist the service department by retrieving bikes for technicians and obtaining parts for service from the parts department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate trailers and Sprinter vans.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Passion for motorcycles and powersports industry is a plus.
- Must be able to maneuver heavy motorcycles up ramps with no issue.
Working Conditions:
- Seasonal position with flexible workdays (3-5 days a week) depending on schedule.
- Work environment includes exposure to various weather conditions.
- Physical requirements include lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
