The Office Clerk plays a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing office. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the office, including data entry, record-keeping, scheduling, and coordination. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks, updating records, databases, and spreadsheets with accurate information.
- Manage and maintain filing systems, including organizing and archiving documents.
- Coordinate schedules and appointments, including meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and respond to inquiries from employees, clients, and vendors.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as needed.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as necessary.
- Assist with invoice processing and accounts payable/receivable tasks as required.
- Support the HR team with administrative tasks, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel records.
- Assist with organizing company events and activities.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and employee information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business administration or related field is a plus.
- Experience in an administrative role, preferably in a manufacturing or electrical products environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, copiers).
