Now offering a $250 signing bonus (to be paid after 90 days employment). Our integrated spine care practice is seeking a skilled and compassionate licensed Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients by delivering therapeutic massage treatments focused on relieving pain, reducing muscle tension, and promoting overall wellness. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for our patients. This position requires excellent massage therapy skills, a caring approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough assessments to identify patients' needs, goals, and any specific areas requiring focus or treatment.
- Administer various massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy, based on patient needs and treatment plans.
- Modify massage techniques as necessary to accommodate patients' comfort, preferences, and specific conditions.
- Communicate effectively with patients to educate them about the benefits of massage therapy, answer questions, and provide recommendations for self-care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure an integrated approach to patient treatment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatments and progress using electronic medical records.
- Stay informed about the latest developments and best practices in massage therapy techniques and research.
Qualifications:
- Certification or licensure as a Massage Therapist in the state of Arizona.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in performing therapeutic massage treatments.
- Proficiency in various massage modalities, including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and effectively convey treatment information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and other technology platforms.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient education materials and wellness programs.
