At MVRA, we are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to add to our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in our growing residential program. As a DSP at MVRA, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will work closely with our team to help individuals increase their skills for greater independence and achieve their goals.
Schedule:
Monday 8am-3pm, Thursday 4pm-8pm, Friday 4pm-8pm, Sunday 8am-8pm,
Qualifications:
- A strong work ethic and dependability
- An understanding of working as a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- A valid driver’s license in good standing and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass the background check requirements
- DSP certification
- CRMA certification
- CPR/First Aid certification
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism
- Assist with daily living activities
- Administer medication following regulations and guidelines
- Ensure a clean and safe environment is maintained
- Assist with coordinating or providing transportation to appointments, outings, and activities
- Encourage and support individuals to increase their independence
- Connect individuals with communities that match their interests and passions, helping to build healthy natural supports and increase social value
- Empower individuals to understand their rights and advocate for their needs
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations

Sign-on bonus details:
$500 sign on bonus, with an additional $300 for fully certified employees
*Fully certified individuals will have their DSP certification and a current CRMA certification
